Activating one will activate all of them, so finding Giant Kemono will be a breeze once you're set up. You can build more Hunting Towers to increase the range. And, don't forget that it has a range - if a Kemono is out of its range, you won't be able to see it on the map. Wild Hearts tells you about the Hunting Tower early on - just don't forget to use it.

These guys help you in combat, and the more you find, the more you'll be able to upgrade them.ĭon't neglect to upgrade them at the Campfire, since the better they are, the more Thread you can carry-increasing the number of Basic Karakuri you can build before you have to collect more. You'll find little round robot friends around each map. You can unlock a Wildlife Cage Dragon Karakuri for this purpose eventually with some Kemono Orbs!ĭifferent from "pets" remember you can pet Small Kemono - this occasionally rewards different materials! You'll need to sneak up on a Small Kemono to pet it. If you need something that says "Pet" in the name, you need to capture the creature the material belongs to and then put it in a cage to collect it. Usually, Hunter's Tents cost 50 Earth energy, but at these travel points, you only need five (at least in Harugasumi Way!) In addition, there is at least one hidden travel point on each map that lets you build Dragon Karakuri like Hunter's Tents for a crazy reduced cost. Know that you can build them anywhere you want, though - not just next to a Dragon Pit! You can always destroy ones you don't end up using, too. Because of this, you generally can only have a limited number built at a time.
The Dragon Karakuri "Hunter's Tent" can be used as fast travel points when selected on the map, but they use Earth elemental energy that's unlocked by activating Dragon Pits.
The catch is that you have to make your own fast travel points. This is related to Dragon Pits, too! The maps in Wild Hearts are quite large and occasionally cumbersome to traverse, but luckily, you can fast travel.
